We collect personal information through our website to provide a functional and optimized user experience.
We collect two kinds of information: a small amount automatically as you browse,and whatever you choose to send us through our contact form.
Categories collected automatically: identifiers (IP address, device and browsercharacteristics) and internet activity (which pages were viewed, and the website orsearch engine you arrived from).
Categories collected from forms: identifiers (name, email address, telephonenumber) and your stated office preference.
Purpose: operating the website, understanding which pages are useful, andresponding to enquiries.
Retention: aggregate page-count data is retained no longer than 24 months.Contact form submissions are retained as long as needed to respond to you and tokeep a record of the correspondence.
Sale or sharing: we do not sell your personal information, and we do not shareit for cross-context behavioural advertising.
We use Webflow Analyze, a first-party analytics feature built into our websiteplatform. It records which pages were viewed, roughly where visitors arrived from,and general device and browser type.
It sets no cookies, does not identify you, and its data is not sent to anyadvertising network or other company. It stays within the platform that hoststhis website.
This measurement runs for all visitors and does not ask for your consent, becauseit neither stores information on your device nor discloses information to a thirdparty. It counts visits, not people.
It is switched off for visitors whose browser sends a Global Privacy Control or DoNot Track signal.
If you select "Allow" on our banner, we load Google Tag Manager and GoogleAnalytics 4. These set cookies in your browser and send information to Google LLC,including your IP address, device and browser characteristics, and the pages youview.
If you do not select "Allow," no request is made to Google at all — no tagcontainer, no cookieless measurement signal, nothing. Declining is not a matter ofGoogle receiving less; Google receives nothing.
You can change this decision at any time using the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link inour website footer.
Where a page address would reveal a specific medical condition or treatment — ablog post about a particular condition, or a specific service page — we replace theaddress, the page title, and the referring page before anything is sent to Google.
Google receives a general marker such as /blog/(post) in place of the actual pageaddress, and our practice name in place of the page title. Anything following a? in the address is removed entirely.
The purpose is that Google can tell us which parts of the site draw interestwithout learning that a particular visitor read about a particular health topic.Our own first-party page counts, which are shared with no one, still record theactual page.
Pages that reveal nothing about your health — our home page, contact page, locationpages, and similar — are reported to Google normally. Any page not explicitlyclassified as general is treated as health-related and redacted by default.
On your first visit we ask whether we may use Google Analytics. You may accept ordecline. Declining does not limit your access to anything on this site.
If you dismiss the banner without choosing, we treat that as no permission given,and Google Analytics is not loaded.
Use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in the site footer at any time. Withdrawingpermission is as straightforward as granting it.
If your browser or a browser extension transmits a Global Privacy Control signal,we treat it as an opt-out. Google Analytics is not loaded, and anonymous pagecounting is also switched off. We do not show you the banner, because you havealready answered.
We honour Do Not Track signals, in the same way as Global Privacy Control. Ifyour browser transmits DNT, Google Analytics is not loaded and anonymous pagecounting is switched off.
California law requires every commercial website to disclose how it responds to DoNot Track signals, whether or not it honours them. This paragraph is thatdisclosure.
If you make a choice, we save a small record in your browser's local storage underthe name apc.consent. It contains your choice, the date and time you made it, theversion of this policy in force at that moment, and whether the choice came from aclick or from a browser signal. Nothing else, and nothing that identifies you.
If we materially change this policy, that record becomes out of date and we willask you to choose again.
Cookies are small files placed on your device. Local storage is a similartechnology that keeps information in your browser without sending it with eachrequest.

We previously used Microsoft Clarity, a session recording and usability analyticsservice. It has been removed. We no longer operate any session recording, screenreplay, or heat-map replay technology, and Microsoft no longer receives informationfrom this website.
Webflow, Inc. hosts this website, processes contact form submissions, andprovides the first-party page counting described in section 3.1. Webflow acts asour service provider, not as an independent recipient of your data.
Google LLC receives website measurement information, only if you select"Allow," and subject to the redaction described in section 3.3.
That is the complete list. We do not sell your personal information, do not shareit for cross-context behavioural advertising, and run no advertising pixels.
Our contact form collects your first name, last name, email address, telephonenumber, and which office you are interested in. Those are the only fields.
We use this information solely to respond to you and to arrange a consultation.Submissions are processed and stored through Webflow, our website platform.
We do not sell this information, do not share it with third-party marketers, andshare it with service providers only where necessary to deliver our response toyou.
Please do not include medical history, symptoms, test results, or health records inthe contact form. It is a general enquiry form, not a clinical channel.
For anything clinical, call our office directly, or use the secure patient portalonce your care relationship is established.
You may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold aboutyou, to request that it be corrected or deleted, to opt out of its sale or sharing,and not to be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.
To make a request, email admin@apersonalphysician.com with the subject line"Privacy Request," or call 858-209-3717. We may need to verify your identity beforeresponding, particularly for requests to access or delete information.
Some information may be retained where we are required or permitted to keep it,including for legal, security, or medical record-keeping obligations.
This website is served over TLS, so information you send is encrypted in transit.
No website form should be treated as a secure channel for clinical information. See section 7.
